PROFILE

Having previously been a law academic researching into European and employment law, he is a respected scholar and author of numerous books/articles in the fields of employment and European law.

In practice, he has applied his vast knowledge base in regularly appearing before the Employment Tribunal/EAT, especially in TUPE, protective awards, trade union consultation issues, age discrimination and dismissal cases.

PUBLICATIONS

Since 2006, he has been the General Editor of Sweet and Maxwell’s Encyclopaedia of Employment Law, as well as a Contributing  Editor to Kluwer’s International Encyclopaedia on Labour Law (GB section). He is also author of ‘EU law in Europe’ where his expertise in EU compliance was acknowledged by the EU institutions.
