Rebecca Eeley

EMPLOYMENT PROFILE

Rebecca Eeley’s practice is split between employment and personal injury law. She accepts instructions in all areas of the employment law field and acts for both Claimants and Respondents. She has a particular interest in the implications for the modern British workplace of developments in European employment law, this subject having formed a substantial part of her Master’s degree. As a result Rebecca particularly enjoys her input into discrimination cases and relishes the challenge that the factual complexities of such cases frequently present. In addition to the full range of discrimination cases, areas of practice so far include: unfair dismissal, equal pay claims, redundancy related litigation, TUPE, breach of contract, working time cases and wages claims. Rebecca also looks forward to developing her employment law related practice in the county court dealing with such matters as restrictive covenants and contract related issues.

Rebecca is keen to provide a ‘user friendly’ and effi cient service which is tailored to the needs and priorities of the individual client. She recognises the importance of mastering the detail of any brief whilst not losing sight of the bigger themes of the case and the major objectives of the client. Rebecca is adept at dealing with the worries and concerns of those clients who fi nd the prospect of involvement in legal action particularly daunting.

That said, she is also keenly aware of the commercial realities of litigation and the need to provide straightforward, practical and clear headed advice.
