Michael Lemmy specialises in Personal Injury litigation and has extensive experience in all aspects of Personal Injury law, including Clinical Negligence and is “recommended” by the Legal 500 Directory. He has particular expertise in Employer’s Liability (including HSE prosecutions and industrial disease), fraud (including exaggerated claims, staged accidents and complex fraud rings) and high value claims (including head injury and serious multiple injuries).
 
Mr Lemmy is a skilled trial advocate who is a guest lecturer on the Advocacy Master-Class and Personal Injury Seminars on the Bar Vocational Course at Manchester Metropolitan University.

• Gardner v Winder, LTL 14/11/2002 (Dame Butler-Sloss P, Scott Baker LJ). Appeal to the Court of Appeal concerning the assessment of damages following personal injury.
• Alker v Collingwood HA. Pending appeal to Court of Appeal concerning a landlord’s duty of care to a tenant who sustained severe injury when her arm went through a pane of ordinary glass in an external door.
