Jonathan Savage qualifi ed as a Solicitor in 1990. After gaining experience in family law, personal injury and commercial litigation, he joined the Crown Prosecution Service in order to specialise in criminal law. As a Senior Crown Prosecutor he was responsible for a heavy caseload which ranged from the most minor to the most grave and complex offences.
In 2003 Mr Savage sought a new challenge at the Criminal Bar. After successfully completing a period of pupillage he quickly developed a busy practise, both prosecuting and defending serious sexual off ences, robbery and offences of violence. He has been lead in cases involving serious fraud, attempted murder and historic child abuse. He has a wide range of experience in areas including ASBOs, football banning orders, confi scation, cash seizure and licensing. He is on the Attorney General’s list of Prosecuting Advocates.
